Kortext secures former Pearson President of Global Online Learning and Pearson UK as newest Board advisor

Kortext is pleased to announce that Rod Bristow has joined the UK’s no.1 student learning content and engagement platform provider as an advisor to the Kortext Board.

Rod brings with him extensive strategic and operational experience leading digital transformation at FTSE100 Board level and has worked internationally in schools, colleges and universities for 40 years.

Rod has spent almost three decades as a leader with education company, Pearson, being on the executive management team with responsibility for over £1bn in revenues and several thousand employees as President of Pearson’s Global Online Learning business and Pearson UK. Rod achieved a string of successes and during the last three years the businesses Rod led were Pearson’s fastest growing. They included partnerships with Arizona State University and King’s College London, and the operation of over 40 fully online schools with over 100,000 students and employing 4000 teachers. Pearson UK included school and higher education publishing, and the exam board Edexcel which delivers GCSE, A Level and BTEC qualifications.

Rod is also a trustee of BMAT multi-academy trust, Harlow College and Education & Employers’ Taskforce, has been recently named as Chief Education Advisor at Cambridge Education Group, and is a member of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force.

With deep knowledge of international markets and experience in education policy development, Rod is well placed to provide insightful guidance to Kortext and help shape the future direction of the company.
