The term health has three different definitions. Firstly, health can be defined as the ability of a biological system to acquire and use the energy with a maximum efficiency. Secondly, health can be seen as the body’s ability to work with the absence of diseases. Thirdly, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has defined human health as a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being that is not only related to a lack of disease.

Good health is vital to deal with everyday life as it permits people to work as humans and carry on the daily tasks that define the individuals’ society. Indeed, without it, people would not be able to reach their potentials and their personal achievements.

Good health is not only related to the individual body, but it includes people's emotions and mentality as well. All these aspects have to work well together, so as a person can have a healthy lifestyle. In fact, missing one of these features can have implication on the individual well-being.

Both at work and at home, having a good health is necessary to build social relationships, as a person who has a good lifestyle is more willing to fit into the society and deal with everyday problems.

At home, a healthy lifestyle is vital for the individual to go on well with the family members. Without a healthy life, relationships within the family can break, provoking damages on how people perceive the life.

Additionally, at work, health is vital to deal with any workplace situations and challenges and it affects the human productivity. In this context, since there is a relationship between health and personal development, having a good health allows people to progress in their career and excel in their professional life.

Hence, it is important that people take care of themselves as well

as other people around to develop a healthy lifestyle.   As well as this, they should focus on what to eat and drink and the number of hours they sleep. Furthermore, they should have positive conversations with other individual and create strong social relationships. Finally, they should plan an organised routine which is at the base of a successful personal development.

In conclusion, good health is not a myth but a factor that every human can achieve as long as he/she put enough effort into it.
