A film, also known as a movie, motion picture, theatrical film or photoplay is a series of images which are presented on a screen and create the illusion of moving images. This optical illusion is created by the motion of separate objects viewed in rapid succession. Films are an important art form, source of entertainment and education. The process of creating a film is known as filmmaking and is both an art and an industry. A film is generated by taking pictures to real scenes using a motion-picture camera.
Traditionally, films were recorded on plastic films through a photochemical process and then shown through a projector on a large screen. Nowadays, with the tech development, the whole process of film production has become digital.
