It includes different statutes, treaties, regulation and common and customary law and concerns the use of different natural resources such as forests, minerals or fisheries.

As well as this, the discipline is interested in the sustainability of natural resources including, water resources, mineral resources, forest resources, wildlife and plants, and fish.
Transport law is the branch of law which focuses on transports. The law can affect the whole transport system or a single transport activity within this system such as vehicles, behaviours and things. This discipline is usually divided into two areas: the legislation or statutory law and the case law.
Planning law is the discipline which deals with the planning permissions to construct buildings and infrastructures. Every new construction has to be inspected during and after the building process as to be compliant with the national, regional and local building codes and receive the construction permissions. Failure in obtaining a permit results in penalties, fines or demolition of the construction.
